The Client: Sutton Alliance (http://www.suttonalliance.com) is a leading provider of commercial and residential real estate transaction services nationwide. Headquartered in New York with branch offices in New Jersey and Florida, Sutton Alliance provides a comprehensive range of real estate transaction services — from residential and commercial title insurance to 1031 exchange facilitation and lender settlement services.
The Challenge: Sutton Alliance needed to replace their existing legacy applications with a more modern application and service-oriented architecture. In the first phases, the new application was required to interface to existing applications, while providing an improved user interface and enhanced functionality. For the long term, the application architecture needed to be solid enough and flexible enough to support the additions and changes for many years to come.
Our Role: Renaissance provided a dedicated development team responsible for all of the development of the system, while Sutton Alliance provided a team to extract and manage end-user and business requirements. The Renaissance team developed the overall system architecture and design, and also implemented sophisticated infrastructures for user interface and application development.
The Result: The architecture and design proved themselves as the system was successfully developed and deployed, while adapting to numerous changes along the way. End users found the application to be easy to use and a significant time saver. The Renaissance team also arranged for Sutton Alliance to be part of Microsoft early adopter programs, which provided private access to emerging tools and technologies as well as special classroom training.
